The agency’s Executive Chairman, Ibrahim Adamu Sarki, reportedly arrived a few minutes before 9 a.m. and found directors and other senior officials absent from their offices.

Sources within the service said the chairman ordered the gate to be locked to enforce punctuality and workplace discipline.

The action reportedly prevented employees who arrived late from entering the premises.
