Pep Guardiola Plans Return to Manchester City for PSG Clash

Former Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola is planning to return to the Etihad Stadium to show support for the club, according to the UK Mirror.

Guardiola is expected to attend City’s Champions League home match against Paris Saint-Germain on October 14.

The report says Guardiola has informed senior club officials that he wants to “be with his people.”

The planned visit comes after an independent commission issued a ruling concerning Manchester City and alleged breaches of the Premier League’s financial regulations between 2009 and 2018.

City has maintained its innocence and lodged an appeal against the ruling on Friday.

Guardiola left Manchester City in the summer after 10 years in charge, during which he won 20 trophies.

He was also manager throughout the four-year investigation into the club’s finances.
