The African Democratic Congress, ADC, has released the names of its governorship and deputy governorship candidates for the 2027 general elections, with the party fielding candidates across 28 states.
The list was made public on Friday by the party’s National Publicity Secretary, Bolaji Abdullahi, in a statement shared on his verified X handle.
According to Abdullahi, the candidates will represent the ADC in the governorship contests across the 28 states participating in the party’s electoral plans for 2027.
The publication of the list marks another stage in the party’s preparations for the forthcoming general elections, as it presents the individuals who will carry its platform into the various state-level contests.
ADC Presents Candidates for 28 States
In the statement announcing the list, the ADC said it had selected governorship and deputy governorship candidates across 28 states.
“The African Democratic Congress, ADC, presents our Governorship and Deputy Governorship candidates across 28 states for the 2027 elections,” the party said.
The party described the candidates as representatives of its political platform and said they would carry its banner into the 2027 elections.
It also linked the candidates to its stated objective of providing Nigerians with an alternative political option at the state level.
“These men and women will carry the ADC banner and our commitment to offer Nigerians credible leadership and a real alternative,” the statement said.
