Hollywood actress Angelina Jolie has sold her historic Los Feliz estate in Los Angeles for $24.75 million, five months after listing the property for almost $30 million.
The Oscar-winning actress placed the 11,000-square-foot mansion on the market in May for $29.85 million before securing a buyer.
Jolie purchased the two-acre estate in 2017 for $24.5 million, shortly after separating from actor Brad Pitt.
The property has a long connection with Hollywood and was previously owned by legendary filmmaker Cecil B. DeMille, whose family retained the estate for decades.
Built in 1913, the residence was originally designed by architect B. Cooper Corbett. DeMille acquired the property in 1916, establishing its place among Los Angeles’ historic Hollywood residences.
The six-bedroom, 10-bathroom estate includes the main mansion and a guest house studio, alongside a swimming pool, pool house, fitness studio, tea house and security station.
Its grounds feature private gardens, century-old trees and views of the Hollywood Hills, Hollywood Sign and Griffith Observatory.
Jolie moved into the property following her 2016 divorce filing from Pitt, with whom she shares six children: Maddox, Pax, Zahara, Shiloh, Knox and Vivienne.
The actress had previously said she intended to leave Los Angeles once her children became adults, explaining that she remained in the city largely because of matters related to her divorce.
The sale comes after Jolie’s youngest children turned 18, a milestone she had previously identified as a point at which she could begin considering a move abroad.
