Anambra State Governor Chukwuma Soludo has warned residents that the state could lose out if they fail to re-elect President Bola Tinubu in the 2027 presidential election, arguing that federal intervention is needed to address the state’s erosion crisis.
Soludo made the remarks in a video showing him speaking to supporters, where he said the scale of erosion in Anambra exceeded the state government’s capacity to tackle it alone.
He argued that cooperation with the Federal Government was necessary to address the problem and urged voters to support Tinubu in the next election.
“The erosion happening in Anambra is beyond the state’s capacity. It requires federal intervention, and that is why we need to vote for Tinubu,” the governor said.
He added: “If we fail to vote for President Tinubu, there will be consequence and you will lose something.”
