Toluwanisings’ Reported Death Sparks Appeals for Prayers

Nigerian gospel singer Toluwanisings has reportedly died, prompting emotional reactions from lawyer Pelumi Olajengbesi and gospel entertainer Woli Agba, who appealed for prayers amid uncertainty surrounding the reports.

Olajengbesi, convener of the Coalition of Public Interests Lawyers and Advocates (COPA), raised the alarm in an Instagram post on Wednesday, expressing concern over the deaths of young Nigerians.

Sharing the singer’s photograph, he called for divine intervention, writing: “My God! What a life! No, Lord! We plead for Your mercy upon Toluwanisings.”

He added that the loss of young people troubled him, stating, “This is not God’s plan for us,” and calling for an end to untimely deaths.

Woli Agba also reacted to the reports, urging people not to give up hope and saying they were still praying for a miracle.

“Please hold on. Please don’t conclude. We are trusting God. Please,” the comedian wrote.

Singer Boyebest expressed similar hope in the comments section, affirming his faith that a miracle would happen.

The reports emerged on social media approximately two hours before the reactions were shared.

As of the time of reporting, the circumstances surrounding the reported death had not been disclosed, and the available information did not establish independent confirmation of the singer’s death.
